He was born in Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine). He attended the Ballet School Dnepropetrovsk, the Ballet Academy Kiev, the Europa Ballett Konservatorium St. Pölten (Austria), the Swiss Ballet Vocational School Zurich and the John Cranko School in Stuttgart. In the 2004/05 season he became a member of the Thuringian State Ballet. He has danced the Prince in Sleeping Beauty, Franz in Coppelia, Mephisto in Faust, the male title role in Romeo and Juliet, Zarewich in The Firebird, Escamillo in Carmen, as well as other roles in choreographies by Nils Christe, Gregor Seyffert, Peter Werner-Ranke, Birgit Scherzer, Uwe Scholz, Robert North, Hugo Viera, Davide Bombana and Silvana Schröder.
